Govilon -During the last few weeks of the summer term Adrian Higgins gave a printing workshop to the whole school. This meant that the group's ages ranged from 5 to 11. Adrian started the session explaining the theory of printing and how to make a template out of wallpaper pieces and textured paper. He encouraged the class to let their imaginations run free and designs of helicopters, parachutes and flowers were then inked and printed off to great effect. Everyone had a wonderful time. Sadly, the school had just received confirmation that it was to close at the end of the year. So instead of pictures to hang on the school wall, the students had a lovely, artistic print to take home and to remind then of their school days in Govilon.
